Hey there! I'm Stella.
Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been surrounded by threads, fabrics, and the gentle hum of the sewing machine. My mother lovingly dressed me in her handmade clothes, and many of my fondest memories are stitched into those garments. From her I inherited not only a love for sewing, but—together with my father—the joy of creating with your own hands. Years later, I began designing sewing patterns of my own, a dream that still lives on.
Today, my story has unfolded into something more. I write from our apartment in Helsinki, which we’re renovating into our dream home together with my spouse and family. Daily life is filled with moments shared with our little muse, our baby daughter, and inspiration drawn from the Provence–Côte d’Azur lifestyle of my French spouse. As a Finnish–Estonian–French family in the Nordics, our days blend cultures and traditions that I do my best to cherish and preserve.
This blog is my cozy corner online—to share our renovation journey, slow and intentional living, my sewing and personal style, and the tender joys and challenges of first-time motherhood. It’s also a place where I explore what it means to weave together three cultures, and to welcome France into my life while raising our daughter. Bienvenue—I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.
